REALLY!!!
This is excitement at it's best! Charlie just loves life.... This was a pretty simple layout and the bling was all added using Tear-ific Tape for the stripes on the side and Super Adhesive Sheets punched into circles and letters from an alphabet template. I used Orange Surprise & Navy glitters from Sparkle N Sprinkle and also Yellow Gold glitter tinsel. Added a few buttons and Voila!!! Can you tell he's a Syracuse fan.... Mom & Dad are both alumni.

On The High Seas
Had some old photos from San Diego a few years ago when we went to see the Tall Ships. Thought they'd fit nicely with the new stamp sets from Sparkle N Sprinkle. Most images are from Set 458 - Treasure Hunt and some from Set 459 - A Pirate's Life. I embossed random images on the woodgrained cardstock using Pebbled Copper embossing powder from Sparkle N Sprinkle. The images were "fussy cut" and added using dimensionals. A little bling finished it off - Mudd Puddles Breeze Sea Glass with a sprinkle of Sparkling Snow glitter. Had an old piece of netting that was perfect for the part!
Here's a close-up of the pirate and the Mudd Puddles.

Charlie in the Bahamas Part II
Got to play with a product called Mudd Puddles this weekend, so decided to try a scrapbook page with Charlie's Bahama pictures. They're fun beach glass type embellishments that come in jars mixed with an adhesive. You just spread it on like frosting. I decided to add a little more "bling" to it and added a little Sparkle N Sprinkle Waterscape glitter to the mix....now it appears like the sun is shining off the glass on the beach. Before adding the Mudd Puddles, I used a sea sponge and sponged on a little Versamark randomly to my beach and embossed it with Sparkle N Sprinkle's Hit the Beach embossing powder. To add a little "shimmer" to the water part of the page, I brushed on Sparkle N Sprinkle Brushable Glue and used both Waterscape and Waterfall glitters. The Bahamas "tag" was made using a Super Adhesive Sheet layered onto cardstock - run thru my Grand Caliber using the Spellbinder's Fancy Tags III die - peeled off the top protective layer and added Champagne glitter.
Here's a close-up of the Mudd Puddles Breeze Beach Glass & the "water" with Waterscape & Waterfall glitters added.
Here you can see the die cut with the Champagne glitter and the Hit the Beach embossing powder on the beach with the Flip Flops Beach Glass added to the Beach.

Charlie Does the Bahamas
Two posts in two days!!!
Our grandson, Charlie took his first airplane trip last year and went to Nassau. When my Paper Crafts Club decided to do an Album Tin, I thought that would be a great way to showcase Charlie's Adventures.
The photo of the cover didn't come out very well, but you'll get the general idea. The entire album was embellished with epoxy stickers and the cover front background scenery was done using linen cardstock and I-Kandee chalks by Pebbles
Here are some photos of the inside. As you can see, Charlie really enjoyed his first trip.
Until next time!

Chipboard Suitcases
Hi all
Today, I thought I'd share a fun project that my club did a while ago using Chipboard Suitcases from Stampin' Up. They've been discontinued, but it was a great project. You may be able to find them around somewhere else. I got carried away with them and made several with matching sets of cards to go in them. All the chipboard pieces were painted with acrylic paints before covering them with DP.
The first one was using stickers for the front of the "suitcase" and Penny Black & Whipper Snapper stamps for the individual puppy cards.
For this one, I chose a K & Company Dimensional sticker et for the outside and the cards for a coordinated set using buttons and pearls for accents.
Another set using K & Company dimensional stickers, Prima flowers, lace and rhinestones. I found the gorgeous DP at my local scrapbook store, but they only had one sheet left and it was never to be seen again! I'd love to have more of that!
Used various stamp images for this set and the flower was made using a retired Spellbinders Blossom die and a brown paper bag. The finished flower was spritzed with Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels
.
Last, but not least.... this one was very simple. Letting the beautiful DP do all the work with the addition of a few rhinestones. Added some Prima flowers to the front and some beautiful ribbon from May Arts.
Hope you enjoyed this fun little project.
