G45 Matchbook Box & Album

Just a sneak peek of my current project.
I've been back from my cruise for 3 weeks,
so time to get crackin'.
I started with a G45 8 x 8 Matchbox,
a door pull and some G45 Tropical Traveloque
papers that I had a couple of in my stash and found
a few more at a stamp store in
Lemon Grove, Ca....   wish I could
find more (except for the full pad of 12 x 12
I found on Etsy for $69.99 - really?????

Anyway - here's the beginning
and will keep you updated as I progress.

I just love the color of this paper!

Got the box done except for the embellies
on the top

Have the outside chipboard album cover started
and some papers cut for the album pages.

Some of my layout started for the album.

More of possible layout.

Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek :)
More to follow....

Lovely Lady

This lovely lady from
Sparkle N Sprinkle is
perfect for Mother's Day
or even a Birthday.
She's so fun to color.
I used my Copics
and Spellbinder Dies.

A beautiful embossing folder
from Couture Creations
and gorgeous DP from G45's
Secret Garden complete the picture.
Hard to see here in the photo, but
it's accented with a clear glitter gelly roll pen.

New Year - New Album

My sister, Lynn from San Diego visited over the Christmas holidays and we spent much of the time in the craft room doing some projects that we've been wanting to do for some time.
This first project was a class she was going to take at Stamping Details in Poway, Ca. but was unable to make. We had her class kit and a couple of photos and winged it from there.  LOL
Took us a while, but I think we got close to what it was supposed to be and naturally put our own spins on it.  This project and one other were both classes at Stamping Details
given by Magdalena.   Her classes are awesome and her projects quite detailed!
Anyway - here's the first one!

This album was created using G45's Bohemian Bazaar cardstock and embellies.
It's 7 1/2" wide x 7" tall and the base was from basic black CS.

Here's a shot of the outside...  the bling is from Zva Creatives
and the ribbon from May Arts.

This is the album with the front opened up...
the center piece is a flap that opens down and
the sides have 2 pockets on each side panel.
Flowers courtesy of Prima

With the first flap down, you see another panel that will
open upward.....

A close-up

When the above panel is lifted up, another appears.
This panel in the center will fold downward.

Close up of the insert panels.

When the above panel is folded down, then
there are 6 pockets (3 on each side).
These each have a pull-out panel.

Pockets with the pull-out panels.

Pockets open up to reveal the bottom panel.

The bottom panel has two pockets.

This project was a lot of fun to do.....

Hope you enjoyed it.
