I'm wa-a-a-ay overdue.
I created a huge scrapbook album
for our grandson, Charlie after he turned one
that showcased his first year.
Sam will be two in August and I'm past
due in getting his album done.
It's a large project and hoping to
finish to give him when we go for
his birthday in August.
Trying to keep things on the simple side
as it's for a small child and while the scrapbook
pages with all the beautiful embellies are fabulous,
I feel that many are just art and are detracting
from the actual photo(s). Charlie really enjoys
pulling his out and looking at pictures of himself.
Hoping that Sam will be the same.
Anyway - here are a few of the pages
that I've finished so far. The papers & embellies,
etc. come from many different places so will not
detail each page.
The card (photo) in the pocket was
Sam's thank you card for his birthday
gifts when he turned 1.

What a beautiful keepsake this will be for your grandson. Your work is amazingly beautiful! I never did scrap booking myself hardly so am not good at it. And, for some reason I did not find it as enjoyable as making a card. Go figure! One would think it would be just a big card design, but for me I found it more overwhelming.
ReplyDeletePrecious! Brenda, I have always enjoyed your "classy" clean style, and wonderful colorful choices. Such precious PRECIOUS photos, and your simplicity in the words and styles makes BABY central. love, de
