Smile - You're on Candid Camera

Polaroid Style!!!
Here's another fabulous creation by Magdalena
who taught the class at Stamping Details in Poway, Calif.
My sister, Lynn had signed up for this class too, but it was
a 7 hour class and she was unable to make it that day.
SO...armed with her class kit,  just two photos
and dimensions only - no "how to" instructions
we proceeded to put this together.   It WAS time
intensive, but oh so cute!!!

This is PART ONE:
Stay tuned for Part TWO later this week.
Decided to break it up as there are lots of photos :)

Recognize the old-time Polaroid camera???
I remember that my grandparents got themselves
one for Christmas when they first came out
and it was a real learning curve for them LOL.
What fun to see the pictures immediately....
Technology surely has come a long, long way since then!

Here's a side view showing the back.

The camera lens was "created" from the plastic
inside ring from Scotch Tape!!!  Painted black with
acrylic paint.

The "flash bulb" used an old time large Christmas bulb.

The glass viewfinder was a piece of chipboard with
a thick coating of Crystal Accents.   Blob from the
center and the center stays raised up a bit and
actually looks more dimensional.

Add a little photo to the viewfinder and voila!!!
OH....  there's a carrying strap too....
I used an old lanyard and cut a piece from it.

All the cardstock used was from a paper pack
stickers & embellies
from Bo Bunny's Mama Razzi 2 Collection

The camera base was made out of black chipboard.

BUT WAIT...........there's more!!!

YEP - you guessed it!!!
It opens up and there's
an album inside.

You have to wait a couple of days
to see the rest!

Hope you enjoyed this as much as we did
figuring it out and putting it together.

    1. Thanks, Anne - no the store doesn't sell the kit or instructions :(... The class kit was pretty time intensive to make and she limits the classes she does... the kit only contains dimensions and a template for the camera - no instructions at all.....
